SER BULLETIN: DIGITAL SIGNATURES. Due to an increased focus on compliance, fraud regulations and “Know you customer” laws, there has been a review of digital signing by our funding panel. This has resulted in Digital Signatures (outside of Docusign via Finance Oxygen) and the use of an email trail for digitally signed documents to be deemed no longer acceptable. This is due to concerns and recent examples where contracts are not enforceable in a court of law, as these email trails are not secure and are difficult to be authenticated.

SER is constantly looking for ways to improve the user experience of Finance Oxygen, but that fast-paced development means sometimes keeping up with these changes can be a challenge. To help, the following are some highlights of the updates and features we’ve made recently. DEAL LOADING IMPROVEMENTS You’ll now find it easier to indicate if there is a guarantor, a payout included in the deal, or a service agreement included.The default options are more in line with the majority of submitted deals, meaning you should have fewer buttons to press most of the time. On Service Agreements, Finance Oxygen now supports some pre-filling of data to reduce the amount of data entry for you.
