SER BULLETIN: DIGITAL SIGNATURES. Due to an increased focus on compliance, fraud regulations and “Know you customer” laws, there has been a review of digital signing by our funding panel. This has resulted in Digital Signatures (outside of Docusign via Finance Oxygen) and the use of an email trail for digitally signed documents to be deemed no longer acceptable. This is due to concerns and recent examples where contracts are not enforceable in a court of law, as these email trails are not secure and are difficult to be authenticated.

These are interesting times as we live through a global reset, restrictions on face-to-face interactions, and peoples reduced accessibility and availability. While this poses significant challenges for us all on our current and pipeline opportunities, there are ways to try and maintain a Healthy Business Operating Immunity. With the development of our in-house software platform, Finance Oxygen, we have streamlined the customer purchasing process via technology. This is a “must have” in today’s climate.
