SER are looking for a full-time Accounts Assistant to join our Head Office in St Leonards NSW. Your new role is with a fast-growing, leading Australian Financial Services Company who is committed to providing the best service and assistance to new and existing clients and vendors. Working within the asset and equipment finance sector, this growing organisation has an exciting opportunity to join their busy team.
Your New Role
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the daily processing of receipts and payments for the Bill & Collect function. Your tasks will include receipting of payouts and refunds as well as cash batches while ensuring that these collections are distributed to funders and vendors with accuracy and timeliness.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of a Bill and Collection function as well as knowledge of receipting and payments.
To be considered for this role you will have:
1. 2+ years’ experience working within a Finance Department
2. Working towards Undergraduate Degree in Finance or Accounting
3. Previous experience using accounting software
4. Previous experience in Xero and Insyston desirable but not essential
5. High attention to detail
6. Motivated & reliable
7. Willingness to grow, learn and develop
