IMPROVING THE EXPERIENCE

SER is constantly looking for ways to improve the user experience of Finance Oxygen, but that fast-paced development means sometimes keeping up with these changes can be a challenge.

To help, the following are some highlights of the updates and features we’ve made recently.

DEAL LOADING IMPROVEMENTS

• You’ll now find it easier to indicate if there is a guarantor, a payout included in the deal, or a service agreement included.
• The default options are more in line with the majority of submitted deals, meaning you should have fewer buttons to press most of the time.
• On Service Agreements, Finance Oxygen now supports some pre-filling of data to reduce the amount of data entry for you.

CORRESPONDENCE IMPROVEMENTS

• We removed some redundant notifications, such as the email that used to go out confirming you’d submitted a new deal, in order to reduce notification noise, and changed the wording on some other messages to improve their clarity.
• The enhanced task rejection email notification provides a clear reason for the task being knocked back so the issue can be swiftly corrected.
• Several emails now contain in-line attachments, meaning you no longer need to follow a link into Finance Oxygen to download these documents.
• A new email notification titled “Submitted for Settlement” informs your admin team when a deal has been submitted to the funder for settlement, preventing the need to reach out to SER for this information.

BANK DETAILS LOADING

• New fields have been added to the deal loading flow that support entering customer bank details for DocuSign, preventing the issue of the customer signatory not knowing what their direct debit details should be and delaying signing.
• Entered details can still be edited by the customer if they spot a mistake or want to use different details, but it allows reps to remove that pressure.
