These are interesting times as we live through a global reset, restrictions on face-to-face interactions, and peoples reduced accessibility and availability.

While this poses significant challenges for us all on our current and pipeline opportunities, there are ways to try and maintain a Healthy Business Operating Immunity.

With the development of our in-house software platform, Finance Oxygen, we have streamlined the customer purchasing process via technology. This is a “must have” in today’s climate.

2. Settlements on copies >$250k Ex GST:
With social distancing, the complication of obtaining original documents is now removed. For any deal under $250,000 you do not need the original documents. Scanned, clear and legible, copies will be fine. This requirement is currently in place until 30 April 2020.

3. Visibility of key customer authorities and decision makers:
Finance Oxygen can supply the details of a Company’s listed directors, which allows you to maintain power, and control the closure of the sales process.

4. Finance Oxygen is a shared online platform direct with your SER team:
It provides real-time, unobstructed communication. We see what you see. So it doesn’t matter where you are operating from, direct communication with your finance partner is not disrupted.

5. Tax Rebates of assets purchase up to $150,000:
The federal government as part of its COVID 19 stimulus has increased the Instant Asset Write Off threshold to $150,000 (up from $30,000) for any qualifying business. We can facilitate this via a Chattel Mortgage. Customers would need to seek their own advice around qualification from their Accountant, however if they are looking to upgrade this is a great time to do it. Accuracy, ease and distribution of agreements for customer commitment become all that more critical so as not to compromise opportunities. Additionally, SER staff are available to assist identify customer entity (ABN, signing requirements) and guide you through the digital generation of documents.
